November 7 - Rotary Club of Limay Members conduct a Career Guidance to students of Limay National High School to share and inform them of the professions available after they graduated High School. As Rotarians who are professional and successful in their field of work talked about their experiences and also their experience during their time in College. As a partner, SMC Consolidated Global Power also invited Engr. Ronald Operana to share his experiences abroad and eventually give back to our country as he serve as an Electrical/Instrumentation and Automation Engineer in SMC. We also invited Capt. Shamsher Singh Shah, a Commercial Pilot for Philippine Airlines who also took an Automative Mechanic before he became a Pilot.
For the Rotarians Pres. Lira Feliciano a Medical Technologist both licensed here and in the US discussed not only her profession but also Vocational Courses that is offered by TESDA. AG Elizabeth Salvador, MBA who majored in Economics and pursue her Masters in Business Administration and now a successful Operations Manager of their own business. Rtn Emmanuel Diwa who is a Major in Banking and Finance told his experience as an Assistant Manager in one of the International Food Chain and also as a Manager in a Restaurant. And lastly to Rtn Gerald Teodoro who discussed and explain the noble profession of being an Educator. We are Rotary, one of the 6 areas of focus of it is Supporting Education that will help students choose the path they want to take to be successful in life.
