SAVE THE EARTH, PLANT A TREE OF BATAAN ASSOCIATION OF ROTARY CLUBS

SEPTEMBER 6 – Bataan Association of Rotary Clubs held the first Fellowship and Joint Project Activity for the Rotary Year 2014-2015. Hosted by Rotary Club of Orion that was held at PP Ernie Tumalad’s Farm in Liang, Pilar, Bataan. All the members of BARC headed by its Assistant Governor Maria Elizabeth Salvador attended it.

300 trees were planted at the site with the help of some Rotaractors from Limay, Balanga and Mariveles Ecozone. It was a very memorable and fun filled activity that was graciously hosted by PP Ernie’s wife Tess Tumalad. Different delicious food was served that was brought by the clubs to be enjoyed by everybody who attended.

Afterwards the BARC held its monthly meeting now witnessed with the members of the different clubs. There, they announced the upcoming event, projects and activities that are going to be held for the month of September.
