19th INDUCTION AND TURNOVER CEREMONIES
June 10, 2014 was the most awaited day for the Rotary Club of Limay, Lira Feliciano, the Best Class President and her new sets of officers had a one on one talk with District Governor Dennis Norman Go during the Governor's visit. The club's plans and projects for the rotary year 2014-2015 involving the 5 avenues of service were discussed. District officers like PP Mely Alfonso - Secretary of RC Central Pangasinan, PP Maricel Galura - Chairperson of District Affairs of RC Balanga were also present.
In the evening of June 10, the joint turnover and induction ceremonies of the Rotary and Rotaract Club of Limay took place at Limay Multi-Purpose Hall. Rotarians also attended the event from Bataan like our mother club Rotary Club of Orion headed by AG Alex Cruz, CP Romy Tumalad with Pres. Skip Robertson and some members and their spouses. President Elect Rosario Mallari leads the delegation of RC Balanga with PP Noemi Natividad, Pres. Beth Pasion and PP Dan Galura. Rotary Club of Mariveles Ecozone was also represented by their Incoming President Art Maximo and PP Ruben Tayco.
Rotaract Club of Limay President April Aron gave her valedictory address as she expressed her gratitude to the support she received during her term. She was also among the new members of the Rotary Club of Limay together with IPDRR Emmanuel Diwa and Past President of the RAC Limay Joy Aimee Lacandula. Incoming President James Lloyd Baluyot accepted the challenge as he led the club in accomplishing their plans and programs for this rotary year. 7 new rotaractors were also inducted and allowed interest in being part of an organization, which focuses in giving service to the community.
Incoming Assistant Governor and outgoing President Maria Elizabeth Salvador was very emotional as she delivers her message. It was a very productive year for her and the rest of the members of the Rotary Club of Limay. She was hard working and gullible president (never complains, always work with a smile and always positive). She finished her term with flying colors and accomplished all her projects with the support of the members of course. President Elect Lira Feliciano also had a lot of plans for the club as she mentioned in her acceptance speech. Both presidents gave tokens to each member as a symbol of gratitude to rejuvenate and empower them to become the Best Members of the Rotary Club of Limay.
