As the first project of our new President Nina Salvador, RC Limay joins the Bataan Green Legacy where we achieve the new Guinness World Record for most trees planted in one hour by a team of unlimited size in a single location. We planted 223,390 trees beating India with 18,000 Bataenos participated in the event.
The event took place last June 25, 2016 in Gen. Lim Orion Bataan. The experience of walking and planting as many seedling as we can to get the new record from the Guinness is very fulfulling. Especially when they announced the we actually achieved the required number, not only we felt good of geting the record but as the quote printed at the back of our shirts, We Planted A Legacy.
